The UK Foreign Minister, David Cameron, is scheduled to meet with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, to address three crucial topics. The first issue to be discussed is the global order, with a focus on upholding sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with UN and OSCE principles. Cameron emphasized the importance of fighting corruption, enhancing security cooperation, and preventing Central Asia from being used as a bypass for sanctions.

The second key focus will be on trade and investments, with the UK offering support in investments and technologies to foster an energy-efficient economy in the region. The announcement of the establishment of a Central Asia fund for direct investments and venture capital was made, with examples like the Concrete Canvas company setting up in Bishkek to cater to the entire region.

Education is the third area of discussion, with plans to increase funding for the Chevening program in Central Asian countries. Additionally, efforts will be made to improve English language teaching standards and focus on the education of women and girls through initiatives by the British Council, Pearson, and Cambridge Education.

"I look forward to discussing these three issues with President Sadyr Japarov and the Kyrgyz government. I am eager to visit Bishkek, witness the nature of this country, and learn about today's Kyrgyzstan. There are huge opportunities ahead of us, and we need to seize them together," said David Cameron.
