Kyrgyz and British Foreign Ministers Discuss Cooperation Opportunities in Bishkek

Today in Bishkek, extended format negotiations took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, Lord David Cameron.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting began with Jeenbek Kulubaev welcoming the first official visit of the head of the UK's foreign policy agency to Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz Foreign Minister expressed hope that the positive dynamics of the political dialogue between the two countries will continue in the future.

Jeenbek Kulubaev informed David Cameron about potential areas of cooperation, including joint development of rare earth metals using advanced technologies, green energy, increasing trade potential between the countries, and British investments in the Kyrgyz economy.
