President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, is set to visit Azerbaijan on April 24-25 for a state visit. This was announced by the head of the foreign policy department of the president's administration, Muratbek Azymbakiev.
During the visit, Sadyr Japarov will hold bilateral talks with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The leaders will discuss current issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects for further development and strengthening of effective cooperation.
"Also planned is the holding of the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Council, following which a joint declaration of the presidents and a number of agreements aimed at deepening partnership in the trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be signed. The leaders of the countries will also take part in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of a secondary school in the village of Khidirli," noted Muratbek Azymbakiev.
