The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, met with the UK Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, who was visiting the country as part of a tour of Central Asia. The meeting was confirmed by the Prime Minister's press service.
During the meeting, they discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-British cooperation. Japarov expressed gratitude to Cameron for his assistance in organizing his visit to the UK in November 2023 and noted that both sides are actively working on implementing the agreements reached.
Japarov reminded Cameron of his visit to the Concrete Canvas plant in Wales during the trip and mentioned the company's intention to build a plant in Kyrgyzstan, which sparked great interest. He highlighted that the project's realization would be a successful example of economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UK.
David Cameron expressed hope that the discussions would significantly contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation.
