During a meeting of the Presidential Administration's collegium, the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, prohibited government members from walking on "toyas." He emphasized that all decrees and instructions from the head of state must be executed efficiently and on time. Specifically, the Prime Minister focused on President Sadyr Japarov's decree banning the slaughter of livestock and extravagance during toya events.

"If you see extravagance somewhere, do not show up there. Do not walk on toyas," stated Akylbek Japarov.

In February 2022, a decree was signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan, implementing a law on restrictions during events. The aim is to enhance the social and economic well-being of citizens and prevent wastefulness during religious ceremonies, rituals, and other events that negatively impact the spiritual atmosphere in society.
