Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have agreed on the transit passage of trucks through their territories without permits, as reported by the Tajikistan-based publication "Asia Plus".
It is noted that truck drivers will start traveling without permits after the protocol is ratified by both countries.
Citing data from the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan, the publication reports that due to the expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, more than 1,200 transit freight operations are carried out annually through the territories of the two countries.
