in Politics / Kyrgyzstan - by

Central Election Commission has prematurely terminated the powers of the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Adahan Madumarov. This became known during a meeting of the CEC.

According to the head of the legal support department of the Central Election Commission's apparatus, Myrzabek Taalaibekov, the basis for such a decision was the verdict of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.

Adahan Madumarov was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the seventh convocation from the faction "Butun Kyrgyzstan".

It is worth noting that on March 26, the Pervomaisky District Court found Adahan Madumarov guilty in a case of state treason and fraud. However, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, the politician was released. Nevertheless, since his preventive measure was not changed, Madumarov was only released from pre-trial detention on April 26.
