On Sunday, April 28, extraordinary elections will be held in the Batken electoral district No. 2.
The mandate became vacant after the Central Election Commission prematurely terminated the powers of Nurlan Rajabaliyev based on his submitted statement.
There are 10 candidates participating in the elections:
1. Kenesh Salikhov
Kenesh Salikhov, Director of the GeoPark Madygen. Over the years, he has worked in various leadership positions and ran for deputy in the previous elections.
2. Jalil Karabotoev
Jalil Karabotoev, a pensioner with extensive work experience in various fields and public service.
3. Turgunbai Nishanbaev
Turgunbai Nishanbaev, a pensioner with a background in accounting, tax inspection, and land specialization.
4. Baktyyar Kalpaev
Baktyyar Kalpaev, Director of Comfort House LLC with previous political affiliations and legal experience.
5. Asylbek Madaliev
Asylbek Madaliev, Director of the IT school Sanarip Academy and former chairman of a youth association.
6. Ashirbai Raimkulov
Ashirbai Raimkulov, Senior Master of Vocational Lyceum No. 57 with prior experience as a deputy.
7. Zamirbek Kozhonov
Zamirbek Kozhonov, Chairman of the Iskhak-Polotkhansky village council and former history teacher.
8. Bakytbek Shadymanov
