Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov met with the Director General of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, Luis Monreal. The government's press service reported on the meeting.
During the meeting, Akylbek Japarov noted that the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) has made positive changes in various areas in Kyrgyzstan, including:
- Education
- Healthcare
- Microfinance
- Small business development
- Infrastructure
- Tourism
- Banking
- Cultural revitalization
Particularly, he highlighted the activities of the University of Central Asia, which offers extensive opportunities for quality education for youth in the Kyrgyz Republic, Central Asian countries, and Afghanistan.
Luis Monreal, the Director General of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, emphasized the organization's commitment to strengthening cooperation in priority areas for the republic. The meeting discussed education reform, preservation of cultural heritage diversity, and collaboration within initiatives to improve the educational environment at the Republican Specialized Music Boarding School named after Mukash Abdraev.
A presentation on the school's reconstruction was given to the participants of the event.
