Early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Nooken single-mandate electoral district No. 5 and the Issyk-Kul single-mandate electoral district No. 36 have been appointed. The corresponding decree was signed by President Sadyr Japarov. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
The elections are scheduled for Sunday, June 30.
The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums has been tasked with organizing the elections in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, and the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to allocate funds, take measures to ensure the legality, rights, and freedoms of citizens, maintain public order, and clarify the data of the Unified State Register of the Population to form accurate voter lists based on it.
The Cabinet of Ministers is also required to assist the Central Election Commission in ensuring the cybersecurity of information electronic systems used in the electoral process, exchanging data through the system of electronic interdepartmental interaction, providing uninterrupted and secure communication channels for conducting certain processes of data transmission as stipulated by the legislation, and take measures to ensure the safe storage of voting equipment and voter identification.
It is worth noting that the seats of the deputies became vacant after members of the Jogorku Kenesh Jusupbek Korgonbay uulu and Maxatbek Sarbagyshew resigned from their positions.
