The President congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the Constitution Day of the Kyrgyz Republic. In the congratulatory message, it is stated that May 5th is a date of special significance in the history of sovereign Kyrgyzstan. Constitution Day is a celebration of the freedom of our people, the strengthening of our statehood, constructive work, and the building of a just and developed society. It calls on all of us to respect the norms of the law, to prioritize human rights, to be able to defend our rights, and at the same time, to feel our responsibility to society, reminding us that we bear a great responsibility for future generations.
"Our Constitution not only has legal force but also holds high spiritual and cultural value. It reflects the future goals and worldview of our people and serves as the basis for determining the direction of our country's development. The Constitution is a special value symbolizing state and civil unity. We must cherish and respect this value. It is important to consider the strict implementation of the provisions of our Constitution as a guarantee of the sustainable development of our beloved homeland.
The main task at this stage is the further development of our republic based on the values enshrined in the Constitution, and the observance of constitutional norms and requirements," the text notes.
Sadyr Japarov called on the citizens of the country to implement the reforms that have been initiated to achieve the set goals.
