New Director Appointed to National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under President

Sanjar Mukambetov has been appointed as the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under the President. This information was announced by the press service of the head of state.

It is worth noting that in April, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree. According to it, the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President, which was headed by Sanjar Mukambetov, and the Institute for Economic Policy Research were reorganized through a merger, forming the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives.

Born on December 12, 1972, Sanjar Mukambetov graduated from the Kyrgyz Technical University and the Kyrgyz State National University with a degree in Economics.

Previously, he served as the head of the Department of Industry Policy and Deputy Chief of Staff for Decision-Making Preparation for the President and Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration.

During the presidency of Sooronbay Jeenbekov, he held the position of Minister of Economy. He also led the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and worked as a Deputy Prime Minister.
