In the Bishkek City Hall, an interdepartmental meeting was held regarding the objects located in the territory of Ataturk Park. The municipality's press service reported that the meeting was attended by the mayor, Aibek Junushaliev, the director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services, Nurdan Oruntaev, and the heads of relevant departments.

The city's mayor instructed them to file lawsuits in the judicial authorities and take measures to prepare the territory for the return of the park's land plots within the boundaries approved by the decision of the Bishkek City State Administration No. 225 of June 25, 1992. The works are scheduled for May 20.

In April, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev signed a resolution approving the boundary of Ataturk Park. According to archival data from the Bishkekglavarchitectura municipal enterprise, 198 objects fall within the return zone. However, the number could be higher, as stated by the city mayor. The municipality assures that they will act within the framework of the legislation regarding real estate objects, preparing and filing lawsuits in courts. The municipality has submitted materials to law enforcement agencies for a legal assessment.
