Kyrgyz diplomatic missions abroad have started receiving the newly designed state flags. A ceremonial flag-raising event took place at the diplomatic representation of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine. Honorary consuls in Kharkiv, Vadim Tumonyan, and in Vinnytsia, Alla Landar, along with the director of the Children's National Library of Ukraine, Alla Gordienko, participated in the event.

As reported by 24.kg, the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Ukraine, Idris Kadyrkulov, mentioned that the flag was brought from Bishkek by a diplomatic mission staff member at the end of last week. Due to the halt in flights to Kyiv since the beginning of the war, the staff member had to personally travel to retrieve the flag.

According to Kadyrkulov, in compliance with the law, all internal documentation of the embassy and official stationery will now feature the new flag's logo. The flags on the desktop flagpoles and within the building will also be replaced.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has covered all expenses related to providing Kyrgyz Republic's foreign representations with the new flags.

It is worth noting that on December 22, 2023, the President signed a law on the new flag of Kyrgyzstan. The document aims to enhance one of the main state symbols of the Kyrgyz Republic - the national flag.

The law also stipulates that all official documents featuring the state flag will remain valid until their expiration date. Additionally, vehicle registration plates and vehicle registration certificates displaying the state flag will remain valid until the relevant authority decides on their replacement.
