The brother of the criminal authority Kamchi Kolbaev, Joldoshbek Kolbaev, has been removed from the position of President of the National Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan. As specified on the organization's social media pages, the management committee has accepted Joldoshbek Kolbaev's request to resign.
The duties of the federation's president have been entrusted to Kuvanychbek Kongantiyev until the end of the Olympic cycle. In 2012, he was elected as the Vice President of the National Judo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and has been a member of the Bishkek City Council since 2012.
Joldoshbek Kolbaev, the brother of the notorious criminal figure Kamchi Kolbaev, had been leading the federation since 2016.
