Deputy Calls for Commission to Strip Mandates from 13 Members in Kyrgyz Parliament

During a parliamentary session, Chingiz Aidarbekov of the Jogorku Kenesh urged the establishment of a commission to revoke the mandates of 13 members. Aidarbekov emphasized the importance of upholding the rights of elected representatives and ensuring that the rule of law is respected. He called on the speaker to take action in response to this issue and proposed a vote on the matter.

Among the members of the 7th convocation who have been stripped of their mandates are Orozayym Narmatova, Omurbek Bakirov, Zhanybek Abirov, Farkhodbek Alimzhanov, Farkhat Ismailov, Nurlanbek Rajabaliyev, Iskender Matraimov, and Emil Zhamgyrchiev. Additionally, MP Adahan Madumarov is currently in custody.
