Proposal to Build Housing for Parliament Staff and Provide Mortgages

in Politics / Kyrgyzstan - by

During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Aibek Altynbekov proposed constructing a building for the parliament's staff and offering apartments in them through mortgages. Altynbekov suggested building a multi-story building in a land plot allocated to the Jogorku Kenesh for a long term in collaboration with the State Mortgage Company. He emphasized that the apartments would not be intended for deputies but for regular staff members in need of housing. Altynbekov requested a formal assignment for this initiative.

In response, Toraga Nurlanbek Shakiev mentioned that the matter is already being addressed. He stated that he had signed a document the day before, where Altynbekov was listed as the initiator, and instructed the chairman of the budget committee, Daniyar Ermekovich, to coordinate the work with the relevant authorities. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing solutions for the parliament's staff, highlighting the importance of supporting those in need within the institution.
