The public hearings on the removal of trees in a state of emergency and planting young seedlings instead took place on Kurmandzhan Datka Street in Osh. The city mayor's office reported that 560 sick trees will be cut down from Navoi Street to Abdykadyrov Street, with 700 maple seedlings to be planted in their place.

From Abdykadyrov Street to Suymbayeva Street, 908 old trees will be cut down and replaced with 1,200 seedlings of modern trees. The public hearings were attended by the mayor of the southern capital, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, geoenvironmental specialist Abdyzhapar Akkulov, ecologists, agronomists, city council deputies, civil society representatives, and youth. This initiative aims to improve the city's green spaces and promote environmental sustainability.
