Over 2.5 Thousand Police Officers Deployed for Football Match Security

In order to ensure public order and safety during the preparation and conduct of a football match, more than 2,500 police officers have been mobilized, as reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Police Department.

"Spectators should be aware that they will be searched before entering the stands. Please cooperate with the security measures and arrive at the match two hours early to avoid queues," the message states.

It is prohibited to bring glass and plastic containers, pyrotechnics, and posters with provocative slogans into the stadium.

Earlier, the Kyrgyzstan national football team played against the Chinese Taipei team in Gaoshung city as part of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for the Asia zone. The match ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the Kyrgyzstan team.

It is worth noting that on March 26 at 20:00, a match between the national football teams of Kyrgyzstan and Chinese Taipei will take place at the D. Omurzakov Stadium as part of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualification.
