In the 75-kilogram category, Sultan Asankul Uulu won in the quarterfinals but was defeated in the semifinals by Russian Ilyas Dodorzhanov. In the 92-kilogram semifinal, Russian Pavel Malakhovsky proved stronger than Kyrgyzstan's Oomatbek Elchoro Uulu. Notably, in the 51-kilogram category, Bekzat Ergeshov advanced to the final.
