Athletes from Kyrgyzstan have showcased their talent at the World Deaf Taekwondo Championship in Bishkek, clinching a total of five medals on the second day of the competition. The news was shared by deafsport.kgz on Instagram.
- Shahida Amirova secured a gold medal in the under 53-kilogram category, while Kunsuluu Olzhobay kyzy (up to 63 kg) claimed silver. Bayastan Jenishov (up to 63 kg), Bermet Marsbekova (up to 57 kg), and Sabina Karybekova (up to 62 kg) all proudly took home bronze medals.
On the first day of the championship, Kyrgyz athlete Dilfat Imenov won a bronze medal in the under 54-kilogram category. Asylkhan Turdukulova secured silver (up to 46 kg), while Ayganys Sarzhanova (up to 46 kg) and Gulzhan Janalieva (up to 49 kg) both earned bronze medals. This remarkable achievement highlights the skill and dedication of Kyrgyz athletes on the international stage.
