The World Deaf Taekwondo Championship in Bishkek recently concluded, with Kyrgyzstan's women's team achieving third place in the overall team standings. The first and second spots were taken by teams from Korea and Croatia, respectively.
Kyrgyzstani athletes were able to secure a total of seven medals during the championship. In the men's category, top-performing teams hailed from Korea, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
Around 200 athletes from 14 countries, such as China, Croatia, Korea, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Ukraine, and others, participated in the championship.
