Kyrgyzstan's Akzhol Mahmudov has secured a silver medal at the Asian Wrestling Championship held in Bishkek. The live broadcast is being aired on the "KTRK Sport" channel.
Competing in the 77-kilogram weight category, Mahmudov defeated athletes from Kazakhstan and Iran. However, he was ultimately bested by Japan's Nao Kusaka in the final with a score of 2:4.
In another weight category, Ulan Muratbek Uulu clinched the bronze medal in the 55-kilogram division. This adds to Kyrgyzstan's success in the championship.
The previous day saw Ayisuluu Tynybekova emerge victorious in the Asian Wrestling Championship as well, showcasing Kyrgyzstan's prowess in the sport.
