Kyrgyz athlete Jolaman Sharshenbekov has claimed the gold medal at the Asian Championship held in Bishkek. Competing in the 60-kilogram weight category, he secured three decisive victories starting from the 1/8 finals, defeating athletes from Indonesia, Uzbekistan, and Iran.
In the final, Sharshenbekov proved his dominance by defeating Japan's Kaito Inaba with a score of 11:0. This remarkable achievement adds to Kyrgyzstan's success at the championship, with Akzhol Makhmudov winning a silver medal, Erlan Manatbekov (up to 130 kg) and Ulan Muratbek Uulu (up to 55 kg) securing bronze medals.
