Kyrgyz athletes have excelled at the Asian Wrestling Championship in Bishkek, bringing home a total of 14 medals. The competition, which concluded recently, saw Kyrgyzstan secure four gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals.
Among the champions were Tairbek Zhumashbek Uulu, Aiperi Medet kyzy, Aisuluu Tynibekova, and Zholaman Sharshenbekov. The second-place finishers included Ayaal Lazarev, Razzak Beyshenkeev, and Akzhol Makhmudov.
The bronze medals were claimed by Ulukbek Joldoshbekov, Alibek Osmonov, Aruuke Kadyrbek kyzy, Gulnura Tashtanbekova, Ulan Muratbek Uulu, Bekzat Orunkul Uulu, and Erlan Manatbekov.
This outstanding performance sets a positive tone as Bishkek gears up to host the Asian Olympic qualifiers on April 19-21. The success of Kyrgyz athletes at the championship is a testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport of wrestling.
