Kyrgyz freestyle wrestlers who reached the semi-finals of the license tournament in Bishkek will compete for a spot in the 2024 Olympics. Bekzat Almaz uulu (57 kg), Ernazar Akmataliev (65 kg), and Orozbek Toktomambetov (74 kg) have earned the opportunity.
However, Nurtilek Karypbaev, Andrey Aronov, and Ayaal Lazarev from Kyrgyzstan have been eliminated from the competition. Only the finalists will secure the license, with matches starting at 18:00.
It is worth noting that an Asian qualification for the Olympics is taking place in Bishkek from April 19-21. Wrestlers Aiperi Medet kyzy, Aisuluu Tynybekova, Akzhol Makhmudov, and Zholaman Sharshenbekov, along with swimmer Denis Petrashov, have already secured their spots.
