Kyrgyzstani athletes showcased impressive performances at the Tashkent International Marathon, as highlighted by the Athletics Federation on social media. Maria Korobitskaya claimed the top spot in the half marathon with a time of 1:12:53, while Ainuska Kalil kyzy, another athlete from Kyrgyzstan, secured the silver medal finishing in 1:15:22.
In the full marathon category, representing the Kyrgyz Republic, Ilya Tyapkin secured the third position with a time of 2:24:53. The marathon witnessed the participation of approximately 6,000 runners from more than 45 countries around the world.
