Kyrgyzstan's Aiperi Medet won gold at the Yasar Dogu&Vehbi Emre tournament in Turkey, as announced by the President of the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, Melis Turganbaev, on his Facebook page.
The Yasar Dogu&Vehbi Emre tournament kicked off yesterday, March 7th, in Antalya.
Competing in the 76-kilogram weight category, Aiperi Medet started her matches from the 1/8 finals. She confidently defeated opponents from Japan and Russia, and in the final, she emerged victorious against a competitor from Kazakhstan.
