On the last Sunday of April, Turkmenistan annually celebrates the National holiday of the Akhal-Teke horse breed with grandeur. The online publication "Vestiabad" reports on the festivities.
The eve of the holiday in Turkmenistan anticipates a significant influx of guests from foreign countries. Throughout the festive week, a series of cultural events are planned, including theatrical and sports activities, art exhibitions, contests, concerts, and scientific conferences dedicated to the Akhal-Teke horses.
On the day of the holiday, competitions in show jumping, a horse marathon, the International scientific conference "The Turkmen Horse and the World Art of Horse Breeding," the final round of the beauty contest "The Most Beautiful Akhal-Teke Horse of the Year," will take place. Additionally, the results of a creative competition among painters, sculptors, carpet weavers, photographers, jewelers, and designers for artistic depictions of the Akhal-Teke horse will be announced.
