An exhibition titled "Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan" has kicked off at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on April 22nd. The showcase includes treasures from the collections of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, such as samples of traditional clothing, hand embroidery, household items, carpets, and other exhibits.
The event was organized by the Permanent Representation of Turkmenistan to UNESCO, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France, and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. Alongside the exhibition, a scientific conference was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Turkmen-French archaeological group's activities, as well as a fashion show featuring Turkmen national clothing.
The aim of the events was to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and the country's achievements during its years of independence.
