On April 23rd, a children's festival "Green Future Hopes" took place at the premises of the joint Turkmen-Turkish school in Ashgabat. The event was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
The organizers of the event were the Embassy of Turkey in Turkmenistan and the public organization Ýaş Tebigatçy ("Young Naturalist"). The celebration was dedicated to three significant dates - the National Independence Day of Turkey, Children's Day, and International Day for a World Free of Waste.
During the grand opening of the festival, students of the school performed Turkish and Turkmen national dances, magic tricks, and circus acts. Contests and games were organized for the children. The event program also included lessons on ecological literacy. The students participated in an eco-quest and presented works made from recycled materials at an exhibition organized as part of the festival.
