Today, a meeting was held at the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, and the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, Nedoy Berger. During the meeting, the parties noted the productivity of their cooperation in the cultural sphere. In this regard, the importance of joint events involving Turkmen and Austrian cultural and artistic figures was emphasized. One of the signs of close cultural interaction is the regular hosting of the Vienna Ball in Turkmenistan and concerts by the Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynish".
The parties discussed the participation of the Austrian side in international events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi during the conversation.
