Various experts from Turkmenistan, the UN, OPEC, the EBRD, and other international companies will present their projects aimed at reducing methane and carbon dioxide emissions, with a potential 75% reduction in harmful emissions. The reduction of methane emissions is crucial for achieving Sustainable Energy Goals and meeting commitments under the Paris Agreement on climate change. Satellite images demonstrating a decrease in burning activities from September 2023 to February 2024 testify to the effectiveness of the proposed measures.
