The expert highlighted the active implementation of technologies in Turkmenistan's petrochemical industry to provide power plants with energy through the use of associated gas, known for its high efficiency. The profitability of this technology is ensured by the close proximity of the power plant to the field or processing plant. This is particularly relevant for the Seidi Oil Refinery and the Turkmenbashi Refinery.
Furthermore, butane is extracted from the associated gas, oxidized, and converted into maleic anhydride for use in the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food production, household cleaning products, fuel additives, and stabilizers for fuels and oils.
