The full-length feature film "Gornaya Tryasoguzka" directed by Begaly Nargozu has been chosen to participate in the competition of an international film festival in Nice, France. The film is nominated in four categories:

- Cinematography in a Foreign Language Film
- Costume Design
- Foreign Language Film
The festival is set to take place from May 13th to 15th. Among those invited to the film forum are:

- Jamila Sydykbaeva (portraying the role of Grandma Sheker)
- Marat Ibraev (portraying the role of Melis)
- Afizakan Myrzapayazova (executive producer of the film)
