On April 30th, the Berki Tamás & Sárik Péter Trio from Hungary will be performing at the Great Hall of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory named after Moldobasanov. The Hungarian Embassy confirmed the news.
Berki Tamás, known as the king of Hungarian jazz singing, has been a part of many legendary jazz groups over the decades. Their concert album with Péter Sárik won the Hungarian Grammy for Jazz Album of the Year.
Péter Sárik Trio is one of the most popular jazz groups in Hungary, gaining recognition in Europe and beyond for their unique jazz adaptations of classical music, including improvisations on the works of Béla Bartók and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert will feature world-renowned jazz hits performed by Berki Tamás (vocals), Péter Sárik (piano), Tibor Fonay (bass), and Attila Galfi (drums).
