State Russian Drama Theater Named After Chingiz Aitmatov Opens New Small Stage

The State National Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov has reopened its small stage after a major renovation and technical upgrade. The theater announced this exciting news on its social media pages.

The walls and ceilings of the hall have been renovated, the floor base has been replaced, a new modern theater canvas has been installed, and the doors have been replaced. New lighting and sound systems, as well as other theater equipment, have been introduced. Sound insulation, modern ventilation, and fire safety measures have been implemented.

The highlight of the hall is the new modern theater seats. The small stage can accommodate up to 100 spectators.

According to the theater, the small stage will serve as an experimental venue, expanding the repertoire and providing space for creative exploration for directors, an opportunity for actors to showcase themselves in a new light, and a chance for students to test their skills.

The premiere of the play "These Free Butterflies," directed by Anna Shmyrina, is scheduled to take place on May 11th on the newly renovated stage.
