A Kyrgyz film has made it to the shortlist of the "Kinokavkaz-2024" festival. The organizing committee has published the list on the cinema forum's website.
The film "Свеча" (The Candle) by the director from Bishkek, Аянна Маликова, is presented in the category of "Short Fiction Film."
It is reported that more than 300 young cinematographers (up to 35 years old) from 16 countries were contenders. The projects presented in the shortlist have been selected for the competitive screening.
The festival is set to take place on May 16-18 in Nalchik.
