1,217 families in the Chui region have started small businesses over the past two years with the support of the Ministry of Labor. Deputy Head of the Ministry, Zhildyz Polotova, made this announcement during a training session as part of the implementation of the "Social Contract" program.
The training was organized at the initiative of the authorized representative of the President in the Chui region, Kanat Dzhumagaziev, for deputy akims, vice-mayors, and aiyil okmotu deputies from the entire region.
"Today, these families are earning incomes that have improved the lives of over 5,800 people. Among them, more than 67% are children, and 4% are persons with disabilities. This year, the initiative of the Head of State, Sadyr Japarov, will reach 23,000 families, and the effectiveness of its implementation largely depends on the quality of work of local authorities," noted Zhildyz Polotova.
During the training, participants were briefed on the criteria and priorities for selection in 2024, as well as the importance of monitoring the subsequent implementation of business projects. Representatives of the Ministry of Labor provided explanations on all stages of the program and addressed questions from the attendees.
