Migrant Workers from Tajikistan Face Work Permit Rejections in Saint Petersburg

Over a hundred migrants from Tajikistan were unable to obtain work permits in Saint Petersburg on May 7, and were told to come back on May 21.

According to reports, there have been no official comments on the situation. The labor migrants informed Radio Ozodi on May 8 that "mostly rejections are based on applications from Tajik citizens, without any explanations provided."
