The Republican competition "Exemplary Family" is coming to an end in Tajikistan. According to officials, wealth or poverty does not affect the victory in this competition.
Zarina Abdulmainzoda, the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs, stated that the competition aims to strengthen the status and role of the family in society, promote family culture, enhance family education, and promote the experience of exemplary families.
The competition consisted of three stages - city, regional, and republican. It will conclude on May 11, and the winners will be announced. They will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-degree diplomas, prizes, and commemorative gifts, noted our interlocutor.
According to Abdulmainzoda, in accordance with the competition regulations, participants underwent a verification process along with submitting their documents.
The composition of the republican commission already included representatives from ministries and departments.
The Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs reported that the financial situation of families cannot be an obstacle to their victory. They must meet other established requirements.
"Good upbringing of children and their education, respect for them in their place of residence (neighbors) and at work, good relations with people around them are taken into account. Also, the family's active participation in cultural events, public work for improvement. There are other criteria, but financial standing does not influence the victory in this competition," emphasized Abdulmainzoda.
She also noted that even very young families can participate in the "Exemplary Family" competition, in their case, "the relationships between husband and wife, as well as with mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, neighbors, and the local community" will be considered.
According to the competition regulations of "Exemplary Family," the following aspects are taken into account when choosing:
- Family health in family relationships;
- Proper upbringing of children;
- Family's contribution to the improvement of the home, street, settlement, mahalla, village, and jamoat;
- Family's role in protecting the values of national culture;
- Favorable conditions for children's education;
- Good language skills of children and their participation in republican competitions, cultural and sports events;
- Involvement of children in serving the Motherland;
- Family's contribution to preventing adverse factors in society.
The results of the republican competition "Exemplary Family" will be announced on May 11 in Dushanbe.
