In Vahdat, a case of embezzlement of over 160.9 thousand somoni from the state funds was discovered within the structures of Tajikistan's Communication Service. The Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan reported this incident.
It was noted that for four years, the communication center "Vahdat City Post," a subordinate organization of the Communication Service under the government of Tajikistan, provided printed publications to state institutions in the region for a fee. However, the director Toirov J.S. did not transfer the received funds to the treasury but appropriated them for himself, as stated by the authority.
As a result of the investigation, the damage to the state in the amount of 160,957 somoni was fully reimbursed, and the criminal case was sent to court for sentencing.
