Tajikistan's Anti-Corruption Agency Initiates Criminal Case Against Road Department Employee

The Anti-Corruption Agency of Tajikistan has announced the initiation of a criminal case against an employee of the Road and Maintenance Department in the Sino district of Dushanbe for fraud.

According to the information published on the agency's website on March 11th of this year, the foreman of the department, A. Faizov, in early April 2022, promised to arrange a job for citizen K. Kurbonov in the department for a certain sum of money.

A criminal case has been initiated against A. Faizov under Part 4, Article 247 (fraud on an especially large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Republic. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
