in Society / Tajikistan - by

Today, on April 20, a mobile complaints reception point was launched in Dushanbe. The specialized transport "Mobile Police Point" operated on J. Rasulov Street in the Sino district in front of the "Farovon" market, as reported by the Capital Police Department.

During the meeting, police officers received over 40 applications and complaints, providing legal consultations to citizens. The residents also offered suggestions for further improving the police's activities.

Citizens were encouraged to collaborate with the police in identifying and preventing any undesirable actions, law violations, ensuring law and order, and the rule of law.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that these points began operating as part of the announcement of 2024 as the "Year of Legal Education" and the implementation of the Police Reform Program and Strategy.

As part of this initiative, the city police will directly engage with citizens, receive their complaints, provide legal assistance, and collect suggestions for discussion at the Public Council on Police Reform.

The frequency of operation for these reception points is not mentioned in the statement.
