Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali has instructed to enhance the outdoor lighting around schools, kindergartens, and healthcare facilities in the capital city. This directive was announced during the seventeenth session of the City Council of Deputies on March 12, as reported on the official website of the city administration.
In addition to schools and healthcare facilities, the mayor also emphasized the importance of adequate lighting around high-rise buildings, other enterprises, and organizations using solar panels. Furthermore, he highlighted the necessity of implementing autonomous boiler houses to ensure heating supply for large industrial projects.
According to the city authorities, Rustam Emomali has provided guidance to the deputy in charge of the relevant sector, along with other municipal authorities, to strengthen the "Smart City" project. This initiative involves analyzing all socio-economic sectors, training specialists in digital management, and incorporating digital technologies in the city's lighting system for roads, sidewalks, avenues, and streets.
As the city progresses towards becoming a smarter and more efficient urban center, the residents can expect improved lighting infrastructure and energy-efficient solutions.
