The main stage of registration for students to participate in centralized entrance exams at the National Testing Center (NTC) in Tajikistan began on March 1. In coordination with the Antimonopoly Service, the NTC has revealed the prices for its services in 2024.
This year, applicants with a complete secondary education (11 years), primary, and secondary vocational education are required to pay 330 somoni for registration (compared to 300 somoni in 2023). For individuals with basic general education (9 years), the fee is 230 somoni (up from 210 somoni in 2023).
The fee for re-registration (main session) in case of changes to the initial choice this year is 30 somoni, which is 5 somoni more than last year. It is worth noting that in 2023, the cost of NTC services increased by 30 to 60 somoni compared to 2022.
Moreover, the NTC website highlights an expansion of the list of individuals eligible for fee exemptions this year. Beneficiaries now include individuals under 22 years old who are full orphans, wards of the state, individuals with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups, those who have lost one parent, or have a parent with a disability. They are exempt from paying fees for centralized entrance exams at the NTC.
