During a working visit of a delegation from the customs authorities of China to Turkmenistan, discussions were held with the employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan regarding the development of the Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) program. The online publication "TurkmenPortal" reported on the event.
Issues related to the implementation of the Memorandum between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China on expanding the capabilities of the AEO program were considered.
A seminar was conducted with the participation of customs officers and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, during which the Chinese colleagues shared their country's experience in implementing the AEO, its current functioning, and future development prospects. The Chinese specialists were introduced to the activities of the Turkmen customs. The guests were also taken on a visit to the customs of the city of Arkadag.
