On May 2, the President of Turkmenistan and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdymukhamedov, chaired a meeting of the State Security Council to review the work done from January to April 2024. Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev presented a report on the implementation of measures to maintain the stable development of the country, legality and public order, strengthening defense capabilities, improving the service and socio-economic conditions of military personnel, and training highly qualified personnel. The report also included data on the progress of the conscription of citizens for military service.
Attorney General B. Mukhammedov reported on the supervision results regarding the implementation of regulatory legal acts, as well as the steps taken to implement the Development Program of the Prosecutor's Office.
Reports were also presented by Minister of Internal Affairs M. Khyydyrov, Minister of National Security N. Atagarayev, Chief of the State Border Service Y. Nuryev, Minister of Justice M. Taganov, Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Khudaykuliev, and Chairman of the State Migration Service A. Sazakov.
