Suspects Detained for Attack on Foreign Workers in Kyrgyz Sewing Workshop

Suspects detained in connection with mass disorder against foreign citizens. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.

According to the information, on May 18 at around 4:30 am, approximately 60-70 people arrived at the sewing workshop of LLC "A-C T", located on Kurmanzhan Datka Street in the village of Alamedin. Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani citizens were working and living there. They broke into the building, caused havoc, destroyed property, inflicted bodily harm on foreigners, took money and phones, and then fled.

A criminal case was initiated under Article 278 "Mass disorder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was established during the investigation that the sewing workshop of LLC "A-C T" suffered material damage, 14 foreign citizens sustained various bodily injuries, and three were hospitalized at Hospital No. 4 of the City Health Department and the Maxillofacial Department of the Republican Hospital.

The identities of the suspects have been established - B.B., born in 1968, T.B., born in 1995, D.B., born in 2003, R.A., born in 2003, A.K., born in 2005. They have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.

During the search of the suspects' homes, five Redmi Samsung cell phones, money (rupees and soms), and the suspects' clothing were confiscated. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
