Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gismet Fizuli oglu Gezalov, on March 19th. The meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries' ministries of internal affairs and expanding cultural and humanitarian collaboration.
During the discussions, they also addressed cooperation within regional and international organizations. The positive progress in energy, trade, and transport and logistics connections was highlighted. The talks emphasized the participation of Azerbaijani delegations in events related to the declaration of 2024 as the year of "The Treasury of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi" in Turkmenistan and the designation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.
